Chicagoland RCA: Janie's Mill tour
Join the Chicagoland RCA for a unique Saturday event!

Session Overview:
It is worth the drive to visit Janie’s Mill, Illinois’ leader in organic and heirloom grains. Attendees will be immersed in the entire process touring the modern stone mill operation and the nearby fields where the grain crops are grown. We’ll also sample baked goods made with products from the mill. A light breakfast will start the day, and we’ll finish with a picnic lunch.
Program of Events:
• 10:00-10:30: Arrival and networking time with pastries made with Janie’s Mill products and oat groats with accompaniments.
• 10:30-11:00: Whole group presentation with founder Harold Wilken
• 11:00-12:45: Two groups will alternately tour the mill while the other group goes with Harold to tour the grain fields.
• 12:45-? Lunch in Danforth Park (about 5 miles from the mill). Picnic lunch with menu featuring Janie’s Mill’s products
