Congrats to Dennis Girik, MSRD, CRC®
The Pioneer Award is awarded to an individual who has become recognized as a leader in the food industry utilizing the practice Culinology®, including in education and standard practices, for at least 10 years.
Congratulations to this year's Pioneer Award recipient, Dennis Girik, MSRD, CRC®, senior technical manager at Griffith Foods!
Dennis has almost 20 years of experience and pioneered Culinology® at Griffith Food US as the first certified research chef (CRC®) with the company. He then helped develop and train six CRC® candidates and eight certified culinary scientists (CCS®) at Griffith Foods.

Calling all home chefs! Culinology® Under Quarantine is a brand-new cookbook compilation of original recipes and formulas created and written by RCA members during their time under quarantine.
Want your own recipe included? We are looking for recipe submissions of all types from our members.
The release date of the Culinology® Under Quarantine cookbook is planned for late August 2020. Please submit your original quarantine recipe(s) no later than August 1, 2020. (Limit: 3 original recipes per eligible member)

Accelerating Beverage Trends
"The coronavirus crisis has created uncertainty for both consumers and consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies, but formulators should expect beverage trends to stay on course in the weeks and months ahead, said Holly McHugh, marketing associate at Imbibe, a Chicago-based beverage development company. 'Our lives have been turned upside down, but I think this will accelerate trends that were already happening,' she said."
